QS Job Description

Study of project specifications, drawings, and details during tendering for the cost analysis and estimation. Preparation of costing and getting approvals before finalizing the tenders.

Submission of tenders, including commercial and technical proposals. Preparation of material submittals if required for any projects. Sending material inquiries and receiving quotations from suppliers/subcontractors. Negotiating with suppliers/subcontractors for better rates and offers.

Evaluation of completed works and preparation of payments. Analyzing the additional scope/varied scope of work and preparation, negotiation of variation.

Evaluation of subcontractor accounts and approval of payments.
