About the Role
As a Regional Account Manager at Vena you will be responsible for selling Vena’s innovative budgeting and forecasting software and related services into a defined territory. You will work closely with potential and existing clients to build and maintain trusting and consultative relationships.
You are a passionate individual with a strong sales background who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centric, entrepreneurial environment. You are highly motivated, results-oriented and have a proven track record of exceeding targets.
Responsibilities
    Tirelessly complete a high volume of daily prospecting calls and market nurturing activities
    Drive generation of new leads to build an ongoing pipeline of sales prospects
    Direct prospects to special events and webinars
    Track daily activity and sales progress in Salesforce
    Collaborate with the Vena team throughout the sales cycle including Business Development, Marketing, Solution Engineering and Implementation
    Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets consistently
    Complete accurate and timely sales reports
Skills & Qualifications
    Post-secondary education in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or closely related field
    ‘Hunter’ mentality with an innovative, entrepreneurial spirit and willing to do what it takes to be successful
    One to two years of relevant experience in cold calling or full cycle sales and account management would be an asset
    Experience building a business or new territory
    Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships with senior management and C-suite stakeholders
    Ability to work independently and autonomously and familiarity working in a remote location
    Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to clearly understand and address client requirements
    Able to work independently and autonomously
    Knowledge of accounting and finance practices and processes would be an asset
