We are currently looking for an experienced payroll officer to join the WCG Corporate team.
The role will be fully work-from-home initially, with a likely move to an office-based role toward the end of this year.

Key functions of the role:
Process fortnightly payroll accurately and timely for approximately 180 employees.
Maintain detailed records of payroll transactions, including deductions, benefits, and taxes.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues.
Work closely with the HR department to manage employee data and benefits.
Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and relevant authorities.
Manage and update payroll systems and software.
Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and concerns.
Assist with internal and external payroll audits.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
What will set you up for success?
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll processing.
Ability to analyze and resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently.
In-depth understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Proficiency with payroll software and systems, ideally Employment Hero.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with employees and HR.
Strong time management skills to meet payroll deadlines.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues promptly.
Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of employee information.
Flexibility to adapt to changes in payroll processes and regulations.
A customer-focused approach to address employee payroll inquiries and concerns.
