An exciting lifestyle opportunity has arisen where we are seeking an individual for a Hands-on Caravan Park Co- Manager position. This is a live-in position with accommodation provided on-site.

Wakiti Creek Resort is a Family owned, Resort-Style Park set on approx. 38 beautiful acres. Pet Friendly all year round, this tranquil park is surrounded by farmland and National Parks. It is situated approximately 25 mins from Echuca and 50 mins from Shepparton.

We provide a variety of accommodation including 2 houses, 14 cabins, 4 teepees, 76 powered Sites, unpowered Sites, and 13 annuals (privately owned onsite vans)

We offer a resort pool, a standard pool, splash park, games room, main camp kitchen, smaller second camp kitchen, 3 amenities blocks, laundry, baby changeroom, dog wash and facilities to cater for over 20 horses.

We are looking for an active individual for the very hands-on role of a Co-Park Manager. Previous experience in caravan park or hospitality industry is a neccessary requirement. We require the successful individual to have office, customer service and finance skills, housekeeping skills, as well as general handyman and groundskeeping abilities. We currently have 1 Co-Park Manager, with multiple part time helpers throughout busy periods.

Ability to plan and manage the park and its projects.

Office skills and duties

Business and Financial common sense

Understand and comply with OHS requirements and other legislation where applicable.

Experience in maintenance, pool maintenance and ground keeping skills.

Experience with housekeeping/general cleaning.

Hardworking, honest, and flexible.

Truck Licence (LR) an advantage, as we have our own rubbish truck.

Current First Aid Certificate, WWCC, RSA advantageous.

The Main Duties would include; but not limited to the following:

Front Office and Reception duties. We are currently using the Seekom booking platform. (training will be provided)

Customer service is our priority so answering phone calls, bookings and quotes promptly.

Cash handling and banking.

Small kiosk selling alcohol and general goods.

Social media and marketing promotions.

Mowing and watering of lawns and gardens.

Maintaining the pools in pristine condition.

Housekeeping and General Cleaning.

General Maintenance and repairs of assets.

Managing after hours events eg; late check ins, pool closure, answering phone calls etc.

As with most caravan parks, work hours vary with the busy seasons. Flexibility is essential to ensure all jobs are completed as required. It is essential to know this is not a 9-5 role, and hours will vary depending on circumstances and the seasons of tourism.

This is a park with a wage of $75k, plus accommodation package. The Roster is 5 days on, 2 days off, To cross over with another manager. Days off would coincide with weekdays, (Mon, Tues, Wed, or Thurs) due to extra workload over weekends.
