About the Role

Buru Rehab is an Indigenous-owned earthworks and mining services contractor. Our core business covers mine rehabilitation for projects throughout Western Australia. At Buru, we are passionate about making a difference in the regions we work and improving outcomes for local indigenous people and businesses through our projects.

We have a unique opportunity for highly experienced dozer and excavator operators at our Ellendale rehabilitation project, based 130 km east of Derby in the stunning Kimberly region. This exciting project involves rehabilitating and healing the land.

While it is a short-term contract on commencement, there is the likelihood of extension with ongoing work. It’s an exciting time to join Buru Rehab!

2 weeks on, 1 week off roster - FIFO from Perth or Broome, or DIDO if you’re a Kimberly local.

About You

Dozer Operators

Relevant tickets and experience on D6 Swamp track LGP (low ground pressure) machines;

Experience working on slime cells within mineral sands or on tailings dams is essential.

Excavator Operators

Relevant tickets and experience for 50T excavators or larger;

Production digging experience required.

Loading Moxies, double benching, side casting.

Both roles

Experience working on mine site rehabilitation projects is essential

4WD and Senior First Aid (highly regarded)

Start date ASAP, subject to passing pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screens.
