Our client is seeking an experienced production and service manager to lead and manage the company's manufacturing and refurbishment departments. They specialize in offering production, service, and distribution of drilling tools and accessories to the open-pit drilling and blasting sector of the mining industry.

What you’ll be doing:

Ensure smooth operations within the manufacturing processes

Oversee the daily operations of the workshop

Ensure production is run at optimal efficiency

Drive productivity improvements and efficiency gains

Oversee safety systems to ensure compliance

Create and oversee safety systems to ensure compliance

Motivate and lead teams to enhance performance and reduce turnover

Provide mentoring, coaching, risk management, and team reporting

Encourage skill development

What you’ll need:

3-5 years of experience in a similar role

Great interpersonal and communication skills

Strong computer skills and proficiency in software

A strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, preferably expertise in rock drilling tools
