ABOUT US

We are a team of clinical psychologists, psychologists, and an in-house dietitian that provides a wide range of clinical assessment and therapy and psychometric testing services to children, teens, and adults. We provide individual therapy and couples & family therapy for a wide range of mental health issues. Our clinic provides extensive administrative and managerial support through our front-of-house administration team, our various administrative coordinators, our practice manager, our HR coordinator, and our director. We are a busy clinic that thrives on effective systems and processes to provide the most streamlined & high-quality services to our clients possible.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a psychologist to assist us by providing psychological services to our clients as an independent contractor in the form of psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment (excluding psychometric testing); our clients are children and adults that present with a range of presenting mental health concerns. This psychologist will be a nice presence within our lovely, close-knit team, who is passionate about helping the members of their community improve their mental health andrall well-being.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Essential Criteria:

Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA

ABN & ACN (registered Company) and business bank account set up

Eligibility for a Medicare provider number for our location

Current Professional Indemnity Insurance

Ability to provide your own ‘tools’ and resources for your work as a Contractor to ensure compliance as an Independent Contractor

Experience providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) & other psychological modalities

Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in improving the well-being of our clients

Providing Telehealth consultations as required by clients

Commitment to ongoing professional development in the areas that support our clients

WHAT WE OFFER:

As an independent contractor, we offer the following: 

Our clinic provides payment to contractors for their services based on a "fixed-fee" arrangement per 'completed service.' The fixed fees we offer are based on the psychologist's years of full registration experience; this allows the contractor to be incentivized by accruing more years of experience rather than a flat percentage split. A fixed-fee arrangement allows the Contractor to have clear predictability for their earnings

Full administrative support where our administrators and Coordinators handle all aspects of the administrative side of the runnings of the clinic, so you only need to focus on providing psychological services and your clinical administration tasks

Full managerial support from our Practice Manager and director, where we run all aspects of the operational and behind the scenes runnings of the clinic, to ensure high quality of services, stability, smoothness, and growth

A beautifully built clinic space with new, luxurious furnishings, a fully equipped "Retreat" (kitchen) with all kitchen appliances for your use, a sqm external balcony to unwind, a large clinic boasting 200 of internal spaciousness

We take the headache out of understanding all the administrative aspects of running a clinic: there is a heavy amount of information to understand and procedures to have when it comes to managing the administrative aspects alone. We have got all of this sorted for you

We also take the headache out of having to ensure all aspects are legally compliant and ensure all appropriate forms and documentation are drawn up and current

We handle all the back-end operations of the runnings and growth of a clinic on a Director level in ways that the average person does not understand, to ensure the viability of the clinic

We look after the obligations of leasing and maintaining a clinic, which are broad

As an Independent Contractor partnering with us, your role is to provide appropriate psychological services to our Clients on behalf of our Clinic and this allows you to find a better balance between work and your personal life without having to worry about all the vasts amounts of stressors, financial risks, and work involved in operating a clinic, whilst at the same time, having higher income security and predictability based on our fixed-fee model

As a contractor, we also provide you the flexibility of choosing your work availability regarding times/days to suit your personal schedule.
