Smart Meter Technician—Full Time

Are you a licensed electrician ready for full-time, consistent work—without the physical strain of crawling into roofs or under houses? NewSpark Electrical Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated smart meter technician to join our growing team, servicing the Newcastle and Hunter region.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with RDOs available, consistent job flow, and straightforward tasks. Perfect for those looking to apply their skills in a structured, supportive environment with long-term stability.

Role Responsibilities:

Install, upgrade, and commission smart electricity meters

Work independently at residential and light commercial sites

Follow safety standards and compliance procedures

Maintain accurate records using mobile job management tools

Deliver friendly and professional service to clients

Requirements:

NSW A-Grade Electrical Licence

White Card (General Construction Induction)

Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

Metering experience preferred (but not essential—we provide training)

Strong work ethic, reliability, and a professional approach
