Editorial Content Manager

Clerk Grade 9/10 position with a salary range $125,693 - $138,510 per annum plus superannuation

About the role
The editorial content manager leads the development and delivery of high-quality written content across a range of marketing, editorial, and advertising channels. Working closely with the Associate Director, Content, you'll coordinate a small team and oversee the day-to-day production schedule, ensuring deadlines are met and all work aligns with our brand guidelines and content strategy.
This role involves planning, managing, and delivering editorial services, from copywriting for campaigns and events to coordinating eDMs and maintaining our editorial standards. You'll act as the department’s managing editor, responsible for editing, fact-checking, and ensuring consistency in tone and messaging. The role also includes maintaining content guidelines, providing advice on best practices, and supporting team members to deliver engaging, accurate, and effective content.

About You
You have demonstrated experience leading editorial content production, ideally in an editorial, marketing, or communications environment. You're confident managing busy workflows, juggling competing deadlines, and ensuring content is delivered to a high standard across multiple channels. You have a sharp eye for detail, know how to write and edit clearly, and are comfortable maintaining consistent tone and style across a range of formats.
You have experience in email marketing and using customer engagement tools, along with the ability to manage content calendars and editorial schedules. You’re adept at handling multiple priorities and working collaboratively with a variety of internal teams and external partners. A strong understanding of brand and content strategy is key, as is the ability to give clear, practical advice on content quality and delivery.
