Shift Supervisor - Marian Mill

About the role
Reporting to the site production manager, as a shift supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in our on-site production team, leading with a focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork. You'll lead by example, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality standards are met. With your expertise in industrial processing and demonstrated leadership in a manufacturing environment, you'll guide your team towards success while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
During the maintenance season (non-crush), you will help coordinate and supervise safe and efficient maintenance of the plant, including delivery of improvement initiatives.
Skills Required
The preferred candidate should possess the following:
Tertiary qualifications in engineering, applied science, or sugar technology (desirable); trade qualifications will be considered also!
Minimum of 5 years knowledge and understanding of industrial processing
Experience in and knowledge of environmental management systems and processes
Knowledge and end experience in the operation of a manufacturing processes
Demonstrated leadership experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment.
Ability to work in a team, develop employees and identify improvement opportunities
Problem solving, proactive and energetic approach
