Responsibilities:

Administer evaluative tests

Assess patients' physical abilities

Examine the patient

Make decisions on tests and procedures

Plan physiotherapy programs

Select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations

Maintain clinical and progress reports

Confer with other health professionals

Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients

Evaluate treatment progress

Develop and implement treatment programs

Analyse clients' capabilities and expectations related to life activities through observation, interviews, and formal assessments

Consult and advise on health promotion programs to prevent disabilities and to maximize independent function in all activities of life
