Infrastructure Directorate
The Infrastructure Directorate is the City of Stirling’s largest and most diverse directorate, managing many of the city’s important assets and services while delivering a multi-million-dollar portfolio of projects.
This directorate is responsible for the ongoing delivery of the city’s sustainability program, as well as contributing heavily to the City of Stirling’s vibrant local economy, livable neighborhoods, and thriving communities.
About the Position
Are you a visionary landscape architect ready to shape the future of public spaces in one of WA’s most vibrant local governments? The City of Stirling is seeking a senior landscape architect to lead the design and delivery of innovative, sustainable, and community-focused open space projects.
Key Responsibilities
The duties of the senior landscape architect will include but are not limited to
Lead the planning, design, documentation, and construction management of landscape projects.
Prepare master plans, concept designs, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide expert advice on landscape and urban design to internal stakeholders and the community.
Contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and forward capital works programming.
About You
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply; all applications will be considered.
Tertiary qualification in landscape architecture.
Proven experience in public realm projects, including parks, civic spaces, and streetscapes.
Strong project management, financial forecasting, and contract administration skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

This permanent full-time position is a Level 8 Inside Workforce Agreement position, which attracts a salary of $106,999 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.
To be eligible to work for us, you need to provide or have the ability to obtain a:
A copy of Australian driving licence
National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months)
Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance
