Responsibilities:

Clean, chip and paint deck surfaces

Handle mooring lines, and splice and repair ropes, wire cables and cordage

Operate and maintain off-loading liquid pumps and valves

Operate, maintain and repair deck equipment

Credentials

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

First Aid Certificate

Transport Canada Security Awareness Training for All Seafarers

Transport Canada engine room rating Certification

Marine Emergency Duties Certificate

Transport Canada Dangerous Cargo Handling Endorsement
