Responsibilities:

Assist in performing routine maintenance work and repair to ship's engine, machinery and auxiliary equipment

Clean engine parts and keep engine room clean

Lubricate moving parts of engine, machinery and auxiliary equipment

Monitor engine, machinery and equipment indicators

Credentials

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

First Aid Certificate

Transport Canada Security Awareness Training for All Seafarers

Transport Canada engine room rating Certification

Marine Emergency Duties Certificate

Transport Canada Dangerous Cargo Handling Endorsement

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
