Our vibrant bowling club is seeking a proactive manager to take the reins and bring fresh energy to our operations.

About Us

We are a well-established bowling club with around 2,000 members that prides itself on fostering community spirit, promoting active lifestyles, and creating a welcoming environment for members of all ages. We are about to engage in improvement to the infrastructure and need a capable, confident manager to be part of that process. Our aim is to build membership and offer social events that bring people together.

The Role

As the club manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving member engagement, and ensuring the smooth running of all activities. From managing events to handling budgets, your role will require a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the day-to-day operations of the club, including maintenance of facilities.

Planning and coordinating social events and membership activities.

Supervising staff and ensuring excellent customer service for members and guests.

Handling financial management, including budgets, invoices, and reports.

Support the board in the role of company secretary and create and manage board papers, distribution, and minutes.

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, legal responsibilities, and club policies.

Qualifications and Experience

RSA & RCG as a minimum

Experience in all aspects of club management, including complying with gambling legislation.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage budgets and financial planning.

Ability to have a strong and cooperative relationship with the Bowling members and their leadership.
