Position Overview:

We are currently hiring electricians for multiple positions, including FIFO (fly-in, fly-out) roles and workshop-based roles. As part of our team, you’ll be working on a variety of projects, including both new and ongoing ventures in the mining sector. With several exciting Tier 1 mining projects underway, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and work on high-profile electrical systems. Whether you prefer working on-site at remote locations or in our workshop, we have a role that will suit your experience and career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on fixed and mobile plants as well as new installations and repairs in the industrial sector.

Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and provide effective solutions.

Read and interpret single-line diagrams, technical diagrams, and system layouts to ensure quality installations and repairs.

Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards and regulations.

Test electrical systems and components using appropriate tools and equipment.

Collaborate with the team to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.

Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional, clean work environment.

Requirements:

Fully qualified A grade electrician with a minimum of 5 years of trade experience.

Experience with underground electrical systems is highly desirable.

Experience working with Sandvik drill rigs is desirable.

Experience with generator fault finding and repairs is desirable.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and applicable codes.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.

Ability to adapt to working in both remote locations (FIFO) and in a workshop setting.
