About the role

The Education and Compliance Officer will engage with producers and agriculture supply chain stakeholders to enable a harmonised national approach to primary produce traceability systems in Tasmania.

Assist in education and compliance activities to support the implementation of mandatory traceability systems.

Communicate compliance obligations to primary producers and supply chain stakeholders.

Be the main point of contact for training and support.

Analyse data and collect evidence to assist with non-compliance investigations.

Based in Hobart, Launceston or Devonport.

Our ideal candidate has

Training or program facilitation experience.

Excellent communication skills and proven ability to consult, negotiate and manage conflict.

Qualifications in government investigations or statutory compliance.

Motivation to support the Tasmanian agricultural sector.

Ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
