Your new role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Service Now Platform Administrator/Developer to support, maintain, and enhance our enterprise Service Now environment. This role combines strong platform administration responsibilities with hands-on development and customization across ITSM, CSM, ITOM, SPM, and other Service Now modules. You will play a key role in ensuring platform stability, continuous improvement, and alignment with business needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Administer and maintain the Service Now platform, ensuring performance, security, and user access management
Design, develop, and configure solutions, including workflows, forms, integrations, and dashboards
Lead platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements in collaboration with stakeholders
Ensure compliance with Service Now and ITIL best practices, maintaining thorough documentation
Support users, provide training, and work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate and adopt new features
Who we are looking for - Selection Criteria:
Proven experience as a Service Now Administrator and/or Developer with a solid grasp of platform architecture and data models
Proficient in scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) and Flow Designer, with experience in modules such as ITSM, SPM, CSM, and ITOM
Skilled in integrating Service Now with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
Familiarity with ITIL or ITSM process improvement as well as Agile and DevOps methodologies in a Service Now environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Desirable Criteria:
Certified System Administrator or Application Developer
CIS - ITSM
Experience with MID Server, Discovery, CMDB/CSDM
Role Requirements:
As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
