The Role

As a Student Services & Administration Officer, you will be the first point of contact for students and play a key role in supporting student lifecycle processes. You will be responsible for a broad range of administrative and support functions,, including admissions, enrollment, PRISMS and CoEs, student communications, and academic record management. You will work as part of a small and supportive team, helping to ensure a smooth and positive student experience on campus.

Key Responsibilities:

Responding to student enquiries (in person, phone, and by email) in a professional and timely manner

Processing applications and supporting admission and enrolment processes

Issuing Offers of Admission and generating Confirmation of Enrolments (eCoEs) via PRISMS

Entering and updating student records in our student management system (Meshed)

Supporting the registration of new students and maintaining student files

Assisting with orientation, course variations, leave applications,, and other student requests

Supporting academic documentation and student reporting activities

Assisting with events and student engagement activities on campus

Providing general administrative support to the academic and leadership team as required

About You

You have a genuine interest in supporting students through their academic journey

You bring professionalism, discretion, and care when dealing with student enquiries and personal information

You are confident navigating administrative systems and working within academic policies and procedures

You are reliable, organised, and understand the importance of accuracy in student records and compliance

You value respectful communication, teamwork, and a collaborative working environment

You are proactive, adaptable, and able to manage day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision in a busy academic setting

Requirements

Previous experience in an administrative or student services role, ideally within an education provider

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

Sound organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail

High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office

Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and work independently or in a small team

Desirable

Tertiary qualification in business administration, education, or a related field

Experience using PRISMS to issue eCoEs

Familiarity with Meshed system or other student management systems

Understanding of CRICOS and international student processes
