Alstom is currently recruiting for an HR manager based in Perth, WA, for a full-time permanent role. Reporting to the HR Business Partnering Lead for ANZ, this position will be responsible for evaluating, developing, deploying, and maintaining employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices for the BHP and HCS projects.
We'll look to you for:
Partnering with managers to provide proactive, valued-added input related to their business needs
Support Managers in applying robust HR Management, policies, processes and programs
Developing and applying governance to the recruiting policy/strategy and execute recruitment activities efficiently
Working closely with each business manager and successfully execute HR initiatives
Conducting training of HR process-related topics
Handling Expatriates immigration and settling-in related process
Ensuring HRIS data are accurate and that proper instructions are given to the Mobility teams
Monitoring the Performance Management Cycle (PMC), including annual and semi-annual performance review, merit increase process, people reviews, and development plans
Managing various employment contract types, benefits and policies
Monitoring the costs of HR activities, training, recruit and relevant programs to ensure expenditures stay within HR budget
All about you:
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management
Proven HR experience in an engineering or construction project environment
Generalist HR management experience covering all areas of HR management practice
Ability to operate in a standalone HR Manager role
Excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to Influence and drive change within a matrix organisation structure
Ability to support the business in planning and executing resourcing and mobilisation activities efficiently to achieve project deadlines
Up-to-date knowledge of labour, social and employment legislation
