Holmesglen Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Scrub Scout Clinical Nurse Educator to join our Operating Theatre Team on a full-time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided.

The hospital includes 147 beds across 5 wards providing medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services; a combined intensive care and coronary care unit; an emergency department; 7 operating suites; a catheter laboratory; day of surgery admission; and day infusion/oncology services.

As a clinical nurse educator, your responsibilities will include:
Identify educational needs by partnering with Nursing Leaders (i.e. DON, NUM, CNS) and Clinical Support Functions (i.e., quality, nfection control).
Lead and foster a learning environment
Maintains a professional and constructive working relationships
Prioritises Healthscope’s patient safety and quality frameworks
Essential Criteria:
Authority to Work in Australia
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
Certificate IV Workplace Assessment and Training (TAE)
Working with Children check (if relevant)
Thorough knowledge of ACORN standards and current legislation (perioperative specific)
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Demonstrated experience in eLearning platforms
Knowledge of adult learning practices and contemporary education practices
High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team
Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer-focused
