We are seeking a passionate and future-focused careers advisor to join our dedicated team, supporting our students in senior school as they navigate academic pathways, vocational options, and life beyond the school gates. Commencing in January 2026 and reporting to the Director of Student Pathways, you will work closely with students, families, and staff to provide career advice and guidance to students to support their successful transition from school to further study, training, or employment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

An understanding of career-related matters including curriculum, vocational and tertiary policies and processes

A commitment to nurturing positive relationships between students, parents and stakeholders

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills necessary to work with all members of the school community

An awareness of labour market trends, current and emerging industries, job roles and skills in demand

Experience in a boarding school environment is highly regarded, as is a genuine passion for boys’ education and an understanding of how to engage boys in ways that make them feel valued and supported across academic, well-being, spiritual, sporting, and cultural domains.
