The Opportunity
Are you ready to lead and shape the future of planning and development in our region?
Council is offering an exciting maternity leave contract opportunity for a skilled and motivated manager of planning and development to join our team. This is a unique chance to advance your career through exposure to both urban and regional planning initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Director of Infrastructure and Development, this pivotal role provides strategic leadership and expert advice across planning and development functions, contributing to the sustainable growth of our community.

The Candidate
You are a qualified planning professional with a strong track record in leadership, service delivery, and stakeholder engagement. Your expertise in interpreting and applying relevant legislation and planning frameworks is matched by your ability to lead high-performing teams and drive positive outcomes.
Key attributes include
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant planning discipline.
Proven experience in strategic and operational planning.
Strong understanding of applicable legislation and regulatory frameworks.
Demonstrated success in team leadership and service excellence.
