About the role

Are you passionate about creating human-centred, operationally viable, and strategically aligned services? We’re looking for a Service Design Lead to establish and embed service design capability within a large-scale program of work on a two year contract.

This role is a unique blend of hands-on design delivery and leadership. You’ll set up frameworks, standards, and processes for service design, collaborate with consultants to build capability, and deliver impactful design work for high-priority initiatives. You’ll also guide the transition of service design into implementation, working closely with Product Owners to ensure delivery backlogs align with service aspirations.

As a champion of design-led thinking, you’ll mentor and guide junior designers, collaborate across disciplines, and influence senior stakeholders to drive meaningful, measurable improvements

About you

You’re a seasoned service design professional with a proven track record of delivering human-centred solutions in complex environments. You thrive in collaborative settings, can influence at all levels, and are passionate about mentoring others. You’re equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to deliver design artefacts as you are setting up frameworks and processes to embed service design capability
