BLACKROC have partnered exclusively with an iconic Australian business thats looking to hire multiple Technical Business Analysts (Product Systems) to help bolster this newly formed team.
The mission is simple: create crystal-clear understanding of whats happening, why, and how, and get everyone moving in the same direction. As part of this team, youll be embedded into key projects across the business, helping define problems, shape solutions, and keep delivery focused and effective.
About you
~5+ years experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Product/Systems Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
Degree in IT or other relevant discipline.
Skilled at turning messy problems into structured, actionable solutions through workshops and system mapping.
Curios when it comes to AI and how it can make your work faster, smarter, and better.
Builds alignment across teams and influences without authority.
Takes ownership, drives clarity, and surfaces solutions independently.
How technical do you need to be?
Youll sit comfortably between product and technical teams — not writing code, but understanding how systems connect and how data flows between them.
Confident collaborating with developers, mapping out processes, and translating product ideas into clear, practical solutions
Think conceptual, not hands-on: the kind of person who can sketch a system diagram, explain how something should work, and work alongside engineers to make it happen.
Familiarity with Salesforce, .NET, Azure, React for Web, React Native for Mobile or even Workday would be helpful but not mandatory by any means. The right mindset, willingness to learn is.
Whats great about this team:
Theyre doing agile the right way — no forced frameworks, no box-ticking ceremonies. Just smart, collaborative teams solving problems together. “Get in a room, sit down, and discuss" type bunch.
True autonomy balanced with support — youll drive requirements but work closely with product and dev where it matters.
A manager that believes in keeping things human, no corporate jargon, no unnecessary process. Expect open conversations, genuine collaboration, and a people-first approach where ideas matter more than titles. He values autonomy and trust, encouraging his team to speak up, challenge ideas, and help shape the direction of the work.

2 days’ work from home
On-site barista to make your office days that little bit better
