Position Title: Psychologist (Clinical or General) Contractor

About Us: TuneIn Psychology is a new and growing practice, dedicated to providing evidence-based treatment for a wide range of mental health concerns. We have established strong working relationships with local GPs and other referring organizations, and pride ourselves on delivering individually tailored and authentic therapy and intervention services.

About the Position: An opportunity exists to join Tune In Psychology in a diverse and varied working environment with flexible arrangements. We are seeking highly motivated and passionate professionals to join as independent contractors to provide psychological services to the local community.

This opportunity involves working directly with clients, providing individual therapy. You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, presenting various clinical needs, making the work both interesting and challenging. Utilize a personalized blend of clinical interventions/assessments within your own therapeutic approach/style. A typical day may involve conducting sessions with 4-6 clients funded through various sources such as mental healthcare plans, private insurers, or department of child protection. Alternatively, you may wish to conduct assessments with both adults and children if this is your area of expertise. Additionally, Tune In Psychology has recently started to offer group therapy if you wanted to explore this area.

This position offers flexibility to suit your needs, whether it be part-time or full-time hours. We value and prioritize your work/life balance, ensuring that your own needs as a clinician are respected.

Full-time Clinical Psychology contractors can earn around 220,000 (gross) with part-time and casual arrangements available.

Responsibilities: Conduct individual therapy sessions and/or assessments (WISC, ADHD, ASD) to assess and treat clients. Maintain accurate session notes. Collaborate with administrative support for booking, billing, and administrative needs.

About You: Warm, authentic, competent, organized, and motivated. Full registration with AHPRA and Medicare eligibility. Working with children and vulnerable persons clearances. Professional indemnity and public liability insurance. Strong rapport-building and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently. Masters of Clinical Psychology students completing their course this year are encouraged to apply. Candidates with placement experience only are acceptable for newly graduated Clinical Psychology students.
