About the role
Calvary Central Districts are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Scrub/Scout and Anaesthetic Nurses (RN's and/or EN's). This is an exciting and unique opportunity for Perioperative trained/experienced nurses to join our team.
We are looking for dynamic, driven nurses, with a passion to work in Theatre, specialising in:
Orthopaedic, General, Gynae, ENT, Endoscopy, Plastics, Urology and Ophthalmology.

Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate peri-operative nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team, so as to achieve goals and positive health outcomes.
Take an active role in the coordination of nursing and health care ensuring they practice independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions, and where applicable, delegation of care.
What you bring
A minimum of 1 year experience Perioperative Nursing.
Current APHRA certification.
Post-grad qualifications in Scrub/Scout or Anaesthetic/Recovery with relevant clinical knowledge and expertise highly desirable, but not essential.
Ability and drive to be adaptable and a 'Team Player'.
Drive to learn and expand knowledge base, as well as guide and support other staff.
