We have an opportunity for an Analyst to join our Infrastructure team on a contract basis to May 2026.
The Analyst, Infrastructure will be a member of the infrastructure investment team and will work on activities across the investment lifecycle to deliver long-term value for NSW, including the following.
Supporting origination, evaluation, execution and asset management of infrastructure investments.
Conducting market and industry research, financial analysis and building and/or reviewing financial models.
Undertaking due diligence and preparing high-quality investment papers.
Engaging with investment managers, advisors and boards on asset management activities.
Contributing to valuation processes, reporting and environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives across the portfolio.
The successful candidate will bring the following attributes.
Tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce, law, economics or engineering.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in investment or corporate finance (for example, investment banking, corporate advisory, funds management or project finance).
Infrastructure sector experience and strong financial modelling skills.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and work collaboratively in a team.
Postgraduate qualifications such as CFA, CA or a Master’s degree will be highly regarded.
