Remuneration: 2,534.30 to 2,879.00 per week

What you'll be doing

The Project and Data Analyst will support the development and implementation of the Collaborative Commissioning initiative at Northern Sydney Local Health District. 

Collaborative Commissioning aims to improve the way care is designed and delivered for particularly vulnerable groups in our community. A key component of the Collaborative Commissioning program is that partners ranging from other government organisations such as Primary Health Networks (PHNs) and private organisations work together to achieve the best health outcomes for everyone. 

The position will work closely with the Collaborative Commissioning working group (a combination of Northern Sydney Local Health District and Sydney North Primary Health Network employees) and other areas of the Local Health District and Primary Health Network as required. You are expected to be able to operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating leadership and sound judgment in managing allocated projects.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

Tertiary qualifications relevant to health system administration or data analysis and/or equivalent extensive experience.

Demonstrated analytical skills to understand complex service delivery and business processes, and translate these into an analysis plan.

Advanced Excel skills for the analysis and visualisation of complex datasets, and experience using other data visualisation tools such as Qlikview, Qliksense or Tableau.

Excellent organisational skills and experience of delivering projects in a demanding professional environment with ability to work with deadlines and manage competing priorities.

Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and incorporate their views into sound advice.
