Hills Auto Centre is looking for an experienced Service Advisor who understands how an automotive service centre operates and genuinely enjoys working with people. You’ll be working in a friendly, down-to-earth team where everyone helps each other and takes pride in doing the job properly.
About the Role
You’ll be a key point of contact for our customers and an important support to our technicians, helping keep the service centre running smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
Handling customer enquiries by phone, email and in person
Booking jobs, preparing quotes and explaining repairs clearly
Liaising with technicians to understand repair needs and timeframes
Ordering parts and following up approvals and jobs
Upselling required repairs and maintenance in an honest, professional way
Keeping customers informed throughout the repair process
Supporting the overall flow of work within the service centre
This role suits someone who understands vehicles and service processes, enjoys dealing with people, and is confident turning enquiries into approved work — without being on the tools full-time.
About You
You’re organised, solutions-focused and enjoy people and sales. You stay calm under pressure and know how to keep customers confident and informed.
Ideally, you’ll have:
Experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive service centre
Strong understanding of vehicle servicing and repairs
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Confidence working with KPIs and performance targets
Good computer literacy and attention to detail
A positive, team-focused attitude
A mechanic background is highly regarded, but not essential if you have strong industry and Service Advisor experience.

This position offers a salary range of 80,000 to 110,000, depending on experience and performance, plus:
