Are you a skilled and motivated Mechanic with a passion for working on a diverse range of vehicles? Motor Mate Wa is a well-established and growing automotive workshop dedicated to providing top-quality service to our valued customers. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanic to join our friendly and professional team.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the diagnosis, service, and repair of a wide variety of light vehicles and 4WDs. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing.

Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.

Conducting comprehensive repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and steering systems.

Performing diagnostics and repairs on 4x4 specific systems, including diffs, transfer cases, and drive shafts.

Utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify faults.

Conducting road tests to ensure vehicle safety and proper function.

Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Communicating effectively with service advisors and customers.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

A trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics (Certificate IV or equivalent).

Proven experience working on a wide range of light vehicles and 4WDs.

A minimum of 1-2 years of automotive mechanic experience is required.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in using modern diagnostic equipment and tools.

A valid and clean driver's license.

A manual car licence is specifically required for this position.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and customer service skills.

A proactive and positive attitude.
