Advanced Trainee Sonographer/ Junior Sonographer

Victoria Diagnostic Imaging (VDI) is a rapidly expanding imaging provider delivering high-quality imaging services across South East Melbourne. With modern facilities and a strong referral base, we are committed to providing excellent patient care while supporting the development of skilled sonographers.

Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an Advanced Trainee Sonographer to join our team in a supportive and high-volume clinical environment. Junior sonographers seeking to further develop and expand their clinical skills are also encouraged to apply.

Our clinics are located at Carrum Downs, Hampton Park, Rowville, Clyde and Cranbourne East.

About the Role

This position is specifically intended for an Advanced Trainee Sonographer who already has a minimum of one year of workplace-based ultrasound training experience. The successful candidate will continue their structured clinical training while gaining exposure to a broad range of ultrasound examinations under the supervision of experienced sonographers.

Essential Requirements

- Currently enrolled in an ASAR approved ultrasound course

- Minimum one year of prior workplace-based ultrasound training experience

- Eligible for ASAR accreditation

- Strong motivation to further develop clinical ultrasound skills

- Excellent communication and patient care skills

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
