Job Description

As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:

Undertaking worksite, functional, ergonomic and exercise Asessments

Identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers and implementing Return to Work programs

Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve recovery and return to work outcomes appropriate for all parties

Designing, implementing and monitoring functional exercise programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce

Teach, coach, and motivate clients to facilitate self-management of exercise and healthy lifestyle, using models of behaviour change, scientific evidence and clinical reasoning, and accounting for sociocultural and individual factors

Design, implement and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions, based on referral information, presenting pathologies and co-morbidities, clinical reasoning, pre-intervention assessments and the analysis, interpretation, and application of scientific evidence.

Conduct initial assessments and identify RTW barriers and design/implement/monitor programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce as required.

Complete accurate case notes which reflect actions undertaken and any recommendations to achieve the Return to Work and Health goal.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the role

Australian recognised degree qualification in Exercise Physiology

Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers licence is required)

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service

A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
