About the Role

This is an opportunity to represent a well-regarded, design-led brand within the architectural and interior design community.

As Specification Manager for Queensland, you will operate at the front end of the design process, building trusted relationships with architects and designers, and positioning products as a natural inclusion across a wide range of residential and commercial projects.

This is a pure specification role, focused on influence rather than conversion. Your success will come from embedding products into project specifications early, supporting designers with confidence, and building a consistent pipeline across commercial, multi-residential, and residential sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong, credible relationships within the AandD community

Grow specification presence across residential, multi-residential, and commercial projects

Engage architectural and interior design studios through thoughtful, design-led conversations

Identify and develop new opportunities within target practices

Deliver polished presentations and CPD sessions

Provide clear, informed responses to design briefs and project requirements

Support the specification process with samples and relevant technical information

Maintain disciplined tracking of specification activity and pipeline development

Collaborate internally to ensure a smooth handover of specified projects

About You

Experience in specification or AandD engagement within a design-led environment

Strong network within the Queensland architecture and design community

Confident operating across a mix of residential and commercial project types

Well-presented, articulate, and credible in studio environments

Highly organised with strong follow-through

Commercially aware, with an understanding of long design cycles

Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously
