About the role
Join the dynamic team at Double Bay Disability Care as our Business Development and Client Engagement Manager – NDIS. In this permanent full-time or part-time role based in Melton, VIC, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s growth strategy while delivering exceptional client experiences.
While your primary work location will be Melton and the Melbourne metropolitan area, you will also be required to travel to Ballarat and Bendigo to support the continued growth of our existing operations in these regions.
In this key role, you will lead the growth of our services by building strategic referral networks and generation of leads and converting into participant placements. You will work closely with families, Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators (LACs), and allied professionals to promote our service offerings.

Attractive salary range of 105,000 to 120,000 + super + commission
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Revenue Generation and Service Growth
The position of Business Development Manager is responsible for the growth of new client acquisition..
Develop and manage strong referral pipelines through Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, LACs, hospitals, and community organizations
Maintaining existing clients and bringing in new business
Be responsible for primarily growing and developing Supported Independent Living (SIL) in our NDIS services.
Ownership of new client intake and working with various external stakeholders until client is fully transitioned into the business.
Implementing marketing and communication strategies to promote the disability support business, including the creation of marketing collateral, social media campaigns, and advertising.
Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators and business analytics to the senior management
Developing and implementing strategies to achieve revenue targets.
All other duties as directed by Senior Management
Prepare monthly reports as directed by the Operations Manager Strategy Innovation and Growth.
What we're looking for
Significant experience in a business development or client engagement role within the disability or aged care sector
Thorough understanding of the NDIS and the ability to provide expert guidance to clients
Proven track record of successfully securing new business and maintaining strong client relationships
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities
Highly organised and able to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities
