Resolve Recruit is partnering with a leading Commonwealth Government agency to find experienced Senior Software Engineers. These positions include:

Software Engineer (.NET Developer)

Software Engineer (Full Stack Developer)

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will oversee software development projects, write optimised code and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. You will be accountable for the quality and functionality of the software your team produces, working within a collaborative environment that values diverse perspectives and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Work within multidisciplinary delivery teams, participating in agile ceremonies including planning, estimation and retrospectives

Design, develop and maintain clean, testable, scalable and maintainable code aligned to defined acceptance criteria

Contribute to solution design, architecture discussions and technical decision-making

Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to achieve high-quality outcomes

Develop and maintain documentation across the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Work under limited direction, exercising sound judgement and initiative

Support and mentor less experienced developers

Contribute to continuous improvement across team practices, tooling and delivery processes

Work within established departmental delivery frameworks and standards

Key Experience and Skills

Strong experience with .NET technologies, including .NET Core and .NET 5/6/7/8

Solid understanding of the .NET Framework

Experience with modern front-end frameworks, including Vue 3

Experience working with SQL Server

Demonstrated experience using Git for version control

Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, version control and CI/CD

Experience working in agile delivery environments within multidisciplinary teams

Security Requirements
