Vacancy Announcement to Accountant

Dammam, Saudi Arabia

A newly established contracting company in Saudi Arabia, backed by a well-established and reputable parent company in Kuwait, is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Accountant to join its team in Dammam.

Job Responsibilities: Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations and international accounting standards

Handle VAT and Zakat submissions through the ZATCA portal

Prepare financial statements, including:

Profit & Loss Statement

Balance Sheet

Cash Flow Reports

Monitor budgets and financial performance

Perform account reconciliations

Follow up on accounts receivable and payable

Support internal and external audit processes

Utilize ERP systems and accounting software efficiently for daily operations

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia

Bachelor’s degree or relevant accounting certification is required

Fluent in spoken and written English

Strong analytical and financial reporting skills

Good knowledge of ERP systems and accounting software

Familiarity with Saudi VAT, Zakat, and ZATCA procedures
