LAWYER / ASSOCIATE – GENERAL INSURANCE

Sydney CBD | Hybrid Working

A growing national law firm is seeking an Associate to join its high-performing General Insurance team in Sydney CBD.

This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer with at least 2 years’ PAE in insurance litigation looking to work across a broad range of liability matters while receiving genuine mentoring, direct client exposure, and long-term career development.

The Role

You will work closely with experienced Principals and Senior Lawyers across a diverse mix of:

Public liability matters

Product liability disputes

Professional liability claims

General insurance litigation

Strategic advisory and dispute resolution work

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage their own matters, maintain direct client contact, and play an active role in achieving successful client outcomes within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:

Minimum 2 years’ post-admission experience within insurance litigation

Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills

Experience managing competing priorities and active matters

High attention to detail and commercial awareness

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment

A proactive and client-focused approach to practice
