An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Foreperson / Site Manager to join a highly regarded luxury residential builder with an established reputation for delivering bespoke, architecturally designed homes across Sydney's most prestigious suburbs.

With multiple projects currently underway and a strong pipeline of future work, this position offers long-term stability and the opportunity to oversee some of Sydney's finest custom residential builds.

About the Role

As the Foreperson / Site Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management of premium residential projects, ensuring exceptional quality standards are maintained while keeping programmes on track and fostering strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.

Current projects include luxury homes located in Clontarf, Mosman, and Bilgola, with project durations extending from 8 months through to 1.5 years, providing excellent continuity of work.This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all on-site construction activities from commencement through to practical completion.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project programmes.

Maintain exceptional quality control standards and ensure all finishes align with client expectations.

Monitor construction schedules, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.

Conduct regular site inspections and oversee site safety, housekeeping, and compliance requirements.

Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, certifiers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage site documentation, material deliveries, and workflow planning.

Foster positive relationships with local trades and suppliers while maintaining a productive and professional site culture.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Demonstrated experience managing high-end custom residential projects as a Foreperson or Site Manager.

Previous exposure to projects within the Northern Beaches and Lower North Shore is highly desirable.

Established relationships with local subcontractors and an understanding of council processes would be advantageous.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain high-performing site operations.

Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Sound knowledge of Australian building standards, construction methodologies, and WHS requirements.

Relevant trade qualifications and current site certifications.
