Job Details: We are on a lookout for a dynamic, self-motivated, experienced, and talented web manager to join our digital team. Part business driver, part developer, part team leader, but most of all skilled and experienced with a proven portfolio to further enhance our digital existence and brand experience.
The digital realm is where you live and play and at times…sleep. You speak fluent “web” and interface with it most of your waking moments. You are constantly thinking of new ways of using technology to communicate even when not communicating. Your team leading and organizational skills are admired and you have a thirst to solve problems and head up a web team in the digital arena of online car buying and selling. You are Auto Trader’s Web Manager.
As the Web Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager, Sales Managers and Creative departments in fulfilling sales and programming needs
Great communication and project management skills are a must, as is the ability to work and head up the web team whilst also having a positive, solution-minded attitude. This position will assume responsibility and administration tasks for both our most challenging and regular website production projects.
THE SKILLS NEEDED: Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.Expertise and hands on experience with Web and digital projectsKnowledge and experience of working on great looking, high end websitesStrong communication and prioritization skills.Western education and proven website portfolio and experience.Bags of personality and passion for digital worldCoordinates members of web team to ensure delivery of contentIdentifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.Provides expertise, participates in team meetings, and communicates effectively with different with team members.Is able to ensure accountability among individual web team members.Takes ownership and facilitation of internal project status meetings.
In essence, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for best website practice, along with a new design implementation process for running and growingAutoTraderUAE.com. The right person will be able to lead the web team to Auto Traders overall brand vision and desired marketplace.
