About Rural Aid

Rural Aid is Australia’s leading charity supporting farmers, their families and rural communities. Across the country, we provide practical, timely and meaningful assistance through a team of passionate, committed professionals who understand the unique pressures of rural life.

Life on the land is shaped by ongoing challenges, droughts, fires, floods and the daily pressures of farming and rural life. We’re on farm and in communities, ready to support when it matters most, helping farmers and their families stay on the land, protect their livelihoods and remain connected to their communities.

Through disaster assistance, community development and mental health programs, Rural Aid works alongside supporters, partners and volunteers to deliver practical support that helps farmers, their families and rural communities become stronger, more connected and hopeful for the future.

Rural Aid's Vision is that farmers, their families and rural communities are strong, connected and supported when faced with disaster and adversity. Our Mission is to provide the right assistance at the right time to improve the lives of farmers, their families and rural communities. Rural Aid promises to ensure donors' money is used transparently to provide effective and timely assistance to those most in need.
