Every second Friday off (9-day fortnight)

Afternoon shift available now

4pm to 12:30am (with every 2nd Friday being 5:30pm to 12am)

Duties

Working as part of a team

MIG and Flux Core welding on heavy structural steel

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and working to specifications

Adhering to strong safety procedures and requirements

Skills and Experience

Australian Work Rights

National Police Clearance within 3 months to or willing to obtain one

Ability to pass Weld Test assessment

Ability to read drawings

Experience in Fabrication and MIG and Flux Core Welding

Strong commitment to a safe work environment

As a Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Identity Card (NSSIC) is required for this role, applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate clearances including NSSIC and ITAR.
