Position: Painter and Decorator

Location: Perth, Western Australia

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and finishing to a high standard on various projects throughout Perth. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming

Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to surfaces

Repair and maintain interior and exterior surfaces

Work with a variety of materials and tools to achieve desired finishes

Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

Proven experience as a painter and decorator

Experience in both residential and commercial painting and decorating projects is required

Strong knowledge of painting techniques and materials

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

Good communication and customer service skills

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

White Card (Construction Induction Training)

Minimum 3-5 years of painting and decorating experience required

Any valid Australian work visa is required for this position
