Company in Rustenburg and in Northam is urgently looking for a Qualified Diesel / Earthmoving Mechanic

Reputable and growing company operating within the earthmoving and heavy equipment industry, is looking for a skilled and reliable Diesel / Earthmoving Mechanics to join their team. The successful candidates will play a key role in maintaining and repairing a fleet of machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Duties

Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and earthmoving equipment

Perform routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and inspections

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults

Ensure all equipment complies with safety and operational standards

Complete job cards, maintenance records, and reports accurately

Attend to breakdowns on-site and in the workshop

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Trade Test Certificate to Red Seal preferred)

Proven experience working on earthmoving equipment (e.g., excavators, articulated dump trucks, bulldozers)

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems

Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (Code 10 or higher advantageous)

Ability to work independently and under pressure

Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Willingness tp work overtime and attend to breakdowns when required

Must have own tools

Salary: R150.00ph neg and based on exp
