Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):
Complete the month end closing for assigned location(s), including appropriate accruals and journal entries
Prepare and present financial result analysis to operations and leadership teams
Act as the customer’s finance expert and leader in matters related to their invoicing and external budgeting cycles (Annual Operating Plans and Quarterly PO Budgets)
Review monthly expense postings for accuracy and prepare reclasses as needed
Prepare and submit monthly invoices and related back up to the customer
Create, analyze, and present internal budgets, periodic forecasts, and flash reporting as requested
Provide periodic and ad hoc financial reporting combining data from ERP systems, worksheets, and manual collection sources
Create and review periodic labor productivity reporting and metrics
Liaise with HR regarding accurate position/task/financial coding of employees
Partner with temporary staffing agencies to confirm contracted hours, pay/bill rates, and related invoicing
Review and approve A/P invoices for payment processing
Qualifications:
4-year Accounting/Finance degree required
5+ years of finance/accounting experience is required to be considered for this position
Prior experience with P and L analysis is a must
Strong understanding of internal and external budgeting and forecasting
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
Prior experience in Logistics/Contract Logistics is a plus, but not required
ERP software experience (SAP) helpful, not required
Skills for Success:
Strong time management
Comfortable working in a quantitatively heavy role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential as this role is customer and senior leadership facing
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to work both independently and with the team
Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests

For this position, the expected base pay range is 95,000.00 to 105,000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.

Responsibilities
Serve as the direct liaison between sales and operations teams.
Drive project execution to improve warehouse operational and logistical efficiency.
Manage facility maintenance needs for the Warehouse.
Manage branch inventory needs in collaboration with RVP, Branch Manager, Sales team and Regional Purchasing teams.
Manage logistical needs and transfers between Warehouse and supported branches.
Monitor daily backlog to make sure customer orders are released in a timely manner.
Support warehouse layout, organization, and storage needs by collaborating with the warehouse supervisors.
Review all inventory adjustments and corrections daily and report findings to RVP and Regional Operations team.
Review all product returns to ensure the product is returned correctly to the shelf or to the manufacturer and proper credit is being issued to the customer in a timely manner.
Research unapproved AP invoices (stock and project).
Research disputed customer invoices and/or vendor invoices.
Prepare and maintain all HR related documents, as needed.
Review and properly code all overhead expenses.
Collaborate with departments to drive optimal productivity.
Coordinate building contracts and maintenance.
Support branch AR needs with new account setup, project set up, customer tax certificates, etc.
Review activities, costs, operations, budgets and forecast data to determine branch and department progress toward stated goals and objectives.
Schedule and coordinate meetings/training sessions for warehouse team.
Qualifications
General Qualifications Required
Computer literate.
Proficiency with Solar/Eclipse ERP software
Proficiency with Microsoft Power Bi
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management, and general administration.
Basic understanding of general HR policies and procedures.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Sales driven operations approach.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Experience working with commercial contractors.
Strong preference for 2+ years of sales experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum five years’ clerical or administrative experience in the electrical distribution industry
