The Position

This position is responsible for assisting with the management and administration of the Visit Albury Wodonga website and social media accounts, including the planning, creation, scheduling, and implementation of digital marketing content. The role contributes to increasing the region's online presence, fostering audience engagement, and supporting destination marketing initiatives through effective digital communication strategies.

Tasks and responsibilities

Assist in the management of the Visit Albury Wodonga website and social media accounts, including creating and publishing content.

Evaluate and report on digital media activity against agreed objectives.

Assist in the promotion and delivery of the Albury Wodonga Tourism Partner Program, ensuring strong relationships with participants and promotion of Visit Albury Wodonga and the team’s resources

Assist in the development and distribution of Visit Albury Wodonga collateral

Respond to customer enquiries received from online visitor platforms and social media

Qualifications and experience

Diploma qualification in Tourism/Marketing/Digital Communications or related discipline or equivalent relevant work experience.

Class C (Standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain).

Experience in creating and publishing digital content.

Experience in design and content creation

Hours

Based on a 35 hour week, working a minimum of 21 hours, with actual days and times being between Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.
