System admin-vmware OR citrix

System administrators required for client based in Dublin West. My client are looking for someone for 12 month contracts-with either Vmware or citrix.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

    Excellent OS knowledge (Windows 2008, Windows 2003, Widows XP/7 and Linux
    Minimum of 4years System Administration experience
    2-4 years VMWare support - VCP preferable/
    OR 2 - 4 years Citrix Support - Certifcation preferableCitrix Support - Certification preferable
    Excellent knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 Server, Windows XP, Ms Office and Exchange 2003.
    Strong focus on quality of service
    Strong focus on security and security principals with relevant experience in a financial institution.
    Self motivated, organised individual with excellent time management skills.
    Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
    Good problem solving and investigation skills.
    Certification is desirable but not 100% necessary.

The following are the main responsibilities:

    User administration/system management (Active Directory)
    Troubleshooting/Analysing performance and reliability issues and the initiation of related improvement work
    Providing PC/Server hardware and software support
    VMWare (VSphere and VMView VDI) administration and maintenance/Citrix administration and maintenance
    Providing support to Team Members
    Providing Ms Exchange support (Exchange 2003 and 2010)
    Support of SCOM and SCCM
    Supporting and maintaining Clients Web Server environment.
    Knowledge of Windows Shell/VB scripting
    Maintain and Document Network policies and procedures within established standard
