Four Corners, business line of Aegis, specialized in recruiting high profile professionals is looking on behalf of an important fashion firm:

Deputy Centre Manager

(Rif. DCM)

This role will support and assist the Centre Manager in leading the Centre and optimizing the value of the asset through the delivery of a trading strategy that maximizes sales, contributing to enhance the customers shopping experience and the sustainable growth of the Centre.

Manages directly and indirectly the various functional experts (facilities, leasing, marketing and retail) to ensure the delivery of the business objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Collaborates with the Centre Manager to maximise the Centre by developing and executing effective sales and cost management plans

• Drive the retail focus on High and Maintain brands

• Through the Trading calendar and KPI management – aspv, footfall, tourism, voids etc.

• Category promotions are effectively implemented

• Cost optimization to budget or better

2. Ensure the customer experience within the Centre is continuously reviewed and improved

• Coordinate the Retail and Facilities teams to ensure standards are kept consistently high

• Liaise with the Marketing team to ensure materials are displayed harmoniously

• Shop fits and layouts are thoroughly discussed with the brands

• Maintenance and upgrade programs are creatively designed and implemented

3. Lead, motivate and develop -a strong, cross functional Centre team that works together to deliver the Centre budget

4. Work with the regional functional teams to drive the value of the Centre

5. Develop and maintain relationships with key business partners within and outside MG

Profile

The candidate must have:

• Educated to degree level, ideally postgraduate business degree or equivalent

• Senior Retail Manager from “blue-chip” retailer, or experienced Department store Director

• Extensive experience in managing a retail portfolio and/or running a successful shopping Centre

• Visual Merchandising, marketing levers knowledge and understanding

• Experience and/understanding of project management of retail property development is desirable

• Financial acumen and experience in forecasting, analysis and budgeting

• Fluent English knowledge

• Deep knowledge and understanding of the culture of the area where the Centre is located

• IT skills: Very good knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
