About the Role: This is a challenging, newly created position where you will create a formal costing system using industry standard procedures and develop a central, global registry for all costing data. As part of your role you will establish processes for quick turn around 'standard' quotations, gather cost and cycle times, analyse current processes and implement best practice.

Ideally, you are an experienced Engineer with a mathematical and costing process improvement focus. As you gather information and create new systems/global registry you will need flexibility to travel; locally and internationally.

What you will bring to the role: The successful applicant will be a competent and experienced Cost Estimator from the Automotive world with the following attributes: A degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering field, Solid work experience in cost estimating, quotations, improving cost systems and developing processes within automotive components/systems/parts in particular wire harness and plastic parts, Excellent understanding of establishing a standard product/project costing system to reduce complexity and to improve sales, Proven experience using Costing software, ability to learn new software quickly, Liaise effectively with Sales, Engineering and Procurement teams, What's in it for you: The successful candidate will be required to complete and pass a full medical examination.
