Mechanical Engineer / Draughtsman to Design Agricultural Machinery, Location, Other, Northern Suburbs, Advertised By Private, Job Type Full-Time

More than 40 employees design, source, manufacture, assemble and service our products at our own new facilities which are built into green surroundings in Joostenberg Vlakte just off the N1. We offer a non-rigid position where you determine your growth.

Duties: Product design, Interact with sales team on product design & requirement, Interact with suppliers, Produce detailed workshop drawings, Oversee manufacture

You will be assisting with: Hydraulic circuit design, Electronic circuit design, Rotational moulding process and mould making for PVC tanks, Ductile iron castings, mould making and foundry processes, Designing of welding jigs

You will cooperate with: Five draughtsmen working on Solid Edge ST7, An assembly team of nine men, Two field technicians, Our country wide dealer network

Requirements: Agricultural background / experience, Mechanical Degree or Diploma, Thorough design skills, Relevant work experience, Experience in 3D CAD-software
